What is Femto Lasik?
Femto LASIK consists of two stages, using two different lasers. The first stage involves creating a microscopically thin flap on the surface of the cornea.
The second stage consists of the Excimer laser correcting any existing refractive errors.

"If you're seeking exceptional eye care in a soothing environment, look no further than The Eye Infirmary Clinic. From the moment I stepped through the door, I knew I was in good hands." - Mohammed Alsaffar
The treatment, with full preparation and follow-up, takes only about 5 to 8 minutes per eye. The laser treatment itself usually lasts only a few seconds.
Since the cornea is adjusted for optimal vision after the procedure, the result is permanent. However, the treatment does not protect against new vision problems such as presbyopia. A change of refractive lens can correct defective vision in old age.
You can usually see clearly again the next day and resume your daily activities.
A flap is a corneal flap that can be prepared from the cornea using a laser. After treatment, it is repositioned over the treated area, serving as a natural bandage. It resists stress after 10 days. After 3 months, the flap can even withstand extreme sports (bungee jumping, diving, etc.).
